We love bacon. The kid loves bacon. So why not use it to wrap up asparagus which is not a popular vegetable in our household!
Preheat oven to 400 F. Season 20-25 or so asparagus spears (trim off the woody part) with salt and pepper. Drizzle about a 1/2 tbsp of oil and toss well to coat. Divide into bundles of 4 or 5. Wrap a bacon around each bundle. Arrange on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes till the bacon strips are crisp and the asparagus tender. Serve immediately.
